I've added several pictures for review. I will say this, all those tiny little tiles became annoyingly tedious to place.
I've sworn off ever doing bird feathers again!
How long did it take, you ask? A little more than a year to complete. Most of that was down time due to the move. Regardless the work represents 100's of hours of work.
The table top design is much better than the previous tables. I've purchased table bases from Tablebases.com. Their service is good and don't seem to mind one table base purchased at a time. My only issue is that I never know what the anchor for the top is going to look like. I try to generate a generic anchor under the table top, but each of the bases I've orderd has a different anchor bracket. I've had to improvise the anchor on the past two tables.

It is an amazing art form. I cannot begin to imagine the time and talent required. Way to go! Keep up the good work!
Yay Coach!
Thanks for the encouragment. I think you're the third person to read the blog, hehe.
This table is great! Don't swear off this level of detail - you obviously have a knack for it and makes your work all the more interesting.
Thank you Kim for your encouragement!
I agree with you about the detail. Maybe you understand, its' like finishing a marathon and saying, "Never again!" only to start training for the next one a week later.
this would've taken you forever!!
